Human trafficking, and specifically sex trafficking, is happening in our own communities. Officials with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Immigration and Customs Enforcement and other law enforcement agencies have confirmed there is a growing problem with human trafficking in Virginia and throughout the DC metropolitan region, within diverse venues including middle, high schools and college campuses, online escort services, residential brothels, on city streets and in truck stops, strip clubs, hotels and motels, and elsewhere.
